We saw this heart shape (made from salt for the ice) on the ground outside of church on Sunday, February 14th. How lovely!
I think it's time to get back on here more often...Also I am procrastinating some work!
Today is Valentine's Day. I've never really liked this holiday all that much, but this year I have been particularly in the mood for it! I've been crafting and preparing and planning for the day several weeks before it was here. Part of that is just because as a teacher, you have to plan weeks in advance. But...I've just had the best Valentine's Day and feel so much love. Love from my students, my wonderful and adorable husband, and my awesome God.
I've been thinking about this verse, Psalm 139:14, a lot lately because of a lesson I've been working on for my jr. high girls. It is:
I praise you for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
Wonderful are your works, my soul knows it very well.
Psalm 139:14
Today I will take delight in knowing that God's works are wonderful and that he made me with love. I am made just the way that He intended for me to be. For that, I will praise Him!
A few more scenes from my Valentine's Day month....

And I made something that was so me. I love little details and fonts and lists. I saw this idea online and adapted it a little. I made a book of 52 things I love about him and printed them and glued them to the back of a card from a deck of 52 cards. He loved it and couldn't believe I made it. It was so fun. Here is the cover and a few of the cards:
